Case Management

We try to keep our clients informed of what is being done on their behalf but from time to time there are delays for reasons outside our own control, for example because we are awaiting a response from somebody else or for a court hearing date in litigation matters.

The fact that you have not heard from us for some time does not mean that we have forgotten about your case. If you are concerned that no action is being taken please do not hesitate to telephone or write to us and we will let you know the current position.

Litigious matters are particularly prone to delay because of the court system and complicated cases may take several years to resolve.

The fee earner whom you first see will be responsible for the conduct of your case unless you are notified to the contrary. If you are unable to contact the fee earner a message may be left with his or her secretary or our receptionist. We try to return calls although it may not be on the same day as a fee earner may be out at a meeting, court or have commitments to other clients.
